Why Mindset Matters in Sales
We often think business growth is all about strategy and tools, but Sophie reminded me that our beliefs, confidence, and subconscious patterns can have an even bigger impact. Imposter syndrome, procrastination, and fear of showing up are just a few of the mindset challenges that stop us from making sales.
Done is Better Than Perfect
One of my favourite parts of our chat was when Sophie shared how perfectionism often holds entrepreneurs back. Instead of waiting until everything is “perfect,” she encourages us to “ship at 70%” and refine along the way. Digital tools and online offers can always be tweaked — but only if we’re brave enough to put them out there.
Rewiring Old Beliefs
Sophie explained that much of what holds us back in sales isn’t logical, it’s subconscious. Old beliefs like “I’m not good at tech” or “my prices are too high” can sabotage us without realising. By using tools like hypnotherapy, neuro coaching, and repetition, Sophie helps entrepreneurs rewire their mindset so they can show up with confidence and authenticity.
Bringing Confidence to Sales Calls
It’s one thing to book a sales call, but if you don’t have the right mindset once you’re on it, closing becomes so much harder. Sophie shared how shifting into a state of service, confidence, and curiosity can make sales conversations flow more naturally and feel less stressful.
